Corporate Finance Manager

Kenda Tire is a leading manufacturer of wheels and tires for ATV, bicycle, golf, industrial, light truck, mobility, motorcycle, passenger car, trailer, and utility applications. In addition to a comprehensive portfolio of Kenda-brand retail products, we supply fleet volumes of wheels and tires to some of the world's largest vehicle manufacturers. Our Reynoldsburg, Ohio, location is home to Kenda USA, which manages all aspects of Kenda’s North American operations.

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Corporate Finance Manager who will be responsible for managing the company's financial risk by overseeing cash flow against the corporate line of credit, reviewing funding needs, preparing and processing required bank reports, and serving as the liaison for audit and appraisal to the bank. This role is also responsible for performing work in connection with the management, planning, and coordination of the life cycle of assigned accounting projects, serving as the accounting lead.

**This is an on-site position.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

  • CPA or MBA is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Expertise in building financial models and analyzing complex data.

  • Proficiency with financial management systems and advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively explain financial information to diverse audiences.

  • Ability to think critically, analyze trends, and develop strategic financial plans.

  • Meticulous approach to accuracy in financial data and reporting.

  • Knowledge of corporate policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Basic data entry and/or word processing skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop long-term financial goals, create forecasts and budgets, and analyze financial performance against plans.

  • Evaluate investment opportunities, manage capital budgeting, and advise on strategies for the company's capital assets.

  • Oversee the collection and analysis of financial data, prepare financial reports, and communicate insights to senior management.

  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform key business decisions and drive efficiency and profitability.

  • Monitor internal controls, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and develop and implement policies and procedures.

  • Work with various departments and stakeholders to meet financial goals and ensure accurate financial communication.

  • Oversee and analyze daily cash position, daily advances, and line of credit balances.

  • Preparing and processing required bank reports, including the monthly Borrowing Base Report.

  • Serve as liaison to the bank for audits and appraisals.

  • Process and approve ACH and wire transfers as needed.

  • Produce short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts as needed.

  • Prepare special audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating information and trends.

  • Monitor market trends in Propurchaser for changes to commodity pricing.

  • Create, manage, and distribute reports related to projects.

  • Maintain project assets, communications, and related database(s).

  • Evaluate and monitor overall projects to identify trends and issues.

  • Notify management regarding abnormalities or variances discovered during the project analysis.

  • Make recommendations for process improvements or policies and procedures that could be implemented to improve efficiency and controls.

  • Interface with Purchasing, Sales, and other departments, providing analytical information and reports to maximize efficiency.

  • Assist management with annual inventory forecasts.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
